- William Baker, born 1759, according to the DAR Patriot Index-Centennial Edition, Vol. I, p. 128, he served in the American Revolution as a Private from NJ receiving a pension of $25. twice per year. (See Pension Roll 121 on LDS film No. 970, 121 under title Deacon William Baker Ancestor Service). William Baker of Elizabethtown/Westfield, Essex County, NJ served in the American Revolution as a private as follows: Data is recorded in The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Washington, D. C. National No. 684590. Application was examined and approved May 8, 1991.
