      the emmigrant ancestor of this JACKSON line:

      Robert Jackson 91620-84) of England, settled at Stamford, Conn., removed
      to Hempstead, Long Island, 1620. Magistrate many years, Indian
      Commissioner, married 1644?, Agnes Washburn ca 1624-1683. [no author
      cited found in Denver Public Library]

      Robert Jackson born in Scotland in 1621. In 1643 he came to Boston,
      Mass., died in Hempstead, Long Island. He was the father of the
      succeeding generations, John [2], James [3], Joseph [4], Benjamin [5],
      Ziba [6], Chalon [7], and Lyman [8] my father. [Lottie Pearl (Jackson)
